JOIN US IN 2025!
We are excited to invite you to our first ever ECHO Pilgrimage experience…a journey in the footsteps of St. John Paul II! During this 10 day experience, we will encounter the man who gifted the Church with the definitive text of the Theology of the Body, who “fell in love with human love”, who had a deep love of Christ and Our Lady, and who understood the depth of human suffering as well as the depth of God’s mercy. The journey is sure to be challenging, beautiful, joyous, and incredibly fruitful.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
WHAT TO EXPECT?
Expect an incredible experience! Do not expect luxury. This is not religious tourism. This is a pilgrimage. While we will not be "roughing it”, we will not be staying in five star accommodations. Do expect a profoundly communal experience where we will pray together, serve one another, and have new experiences together. Expect the Lord to surprise you along the way. Expect a great balance of communal sharing, personal time, silence, and free time. Expect an intimate journey with a smaller group (only around 30). Expect great things!
WHAT AGE GROUP IS THIS GEARED TOWARD?
This experience is tailored to adults 18 years or older and out of high school up to age 40. However, if you are an adult and desire an adventure, we welcome you!
WILL YOU SHARE THE COMPLETE ITINERARY?
An itinerary will be shared with all pilgrims when their registration is confirmed...however, some of the parts of the pilgrimage will remain a surprise!
WILL WE HAVE INTERNET ACCESS AND CELL SERVICE?
If you purchase international cell service (check your own carrier for these details) then you will have cell service. However, this is not necessary and text communication can happen with pilgrimage directors in wifi zones (train stations, airports, etc). There is internet service in the main space where we will be staying. However, keep in mind that we will have plenty of people taking photos and video, so you may want to consider leaving your phone in your luggage. And yes… there will be times when we will not have our phones at all.
WHAT ARE THE ACCOMMODATIONS LIKE?
Most of our accommodations are suite-style. If there is someone you know coming on the pilgrimage that you would like to be included in your suite, you can request them during registration. We cannot guarantee your selection, but we will do our best.
WHAT DO I NEED TO DO AFTER I REGISTER?
Make sure you have a valid passport, valid at least through October 2026 to mitigate any issues with passport control. You will also want to begin looking at flights around 8 months out. Remember, you cannot travel internationally without a valid passport.
WHEN AND WHERE DO I BOOK FLIGHTS?
You are responsible for your own airfare and arrangements. You will want to book your flight to arrive at the John Paul II International Airport in Krakow Poland (KRK) on October 18th. This will necessitate your departure from the USA on October 17th.
You will want to book your flight to depart John Paul II International Airport (KRK) on October 27th. The pilgrimage experience ends this day, so if you choose to remain in Poland or to travel elsewhere in Europe, you are responsible for travel and lodging arrangements after this time.
More info regarding flight booking be shared with pilgrims after their registration is confirmed!

WHAT HAPPENS IF MY REGISTRATION IS NOT ACCEPTED?
Acceptance depends on a number of factors, including housing and male/female ratio. It’s important that we achieve an adequate balance! If you are not accepted, your deposit and any other monies paid toward your pilgrimage registration will be refunded. NOTE: Do not purchase flights before you are officially accepted.
HOW DO I MEET UP WITH THE GROUP IN KRAKOW?
The pilgrimage director will communicate with everyone about when and where to head for the official start of the pilgrimage once you are in Krakow.
WHAT IS THE BEST WAY TO SPIRITUALLY PREPARE?
Pray! Listen! Slow down! Once your registration is confirmed, you will be sent some recommendations for prayer, reflection, and education to support your preparation for the pilgrimage, but most importantly, simply be with the Lord who desires to give you great things.
WHAT SHOULD I PACK?
A packing list will be shared with you as we get closer, but it will require the usual: personal toiletries, clothing, shoes for travel/walking, etc. The weather in Poland in October can vary widely year by year. There could be some snow, or some years it can be unseasonably warm. As we get closer to the timeframe of the pilgrimage, a packing list will be sent to all pilgrims with projected weather in mind!
WHO CAN I CONTACT WITH MORE QUESTIONS?
You can contact the pilgrimage director, Adam Fuselier, by email at [email protected] with any questions or concerns, or via phone at (985) 951-2215.
